International rights to the four-part legal drama from Blinder Films have been acquired by the distributor, joining a slate which includes ‘Deep Water’, ‘Copwatchers’ and ‘Nurses Who Kill’.
The legal drama created by James Phelan (Wrecking the Rising) stars Amy Huberman (Can’t Cope, Won’t Cope) as solicitor Tara Rafferty.
Lisa James Larsson (NBC’s Welcome to Sweden) directs a script written by James Phelan, Rob Heyland (Between the Lines, Whistleblowers) and Mike O’Leary (Eipic, Misfits), which sees Tara’s personal and professional life challenged when she finds fiancée and workmate Eric has been cheating. She makes the move toward family law and sets up her own firm.
Rory Keenan (The Young Messiah, Keys to the City) also leads the cast as Eric, with Gemma-Leah Devereux (Cardboard Gangsters), Joanne Crawford (We Have Always Lived in the Castle) and Nick Dunning (Father Brown) also starring.
The series is produced by Yvonne Donohoe and Katie Holly of ‘Love & Friendship’ and was filmed in Dublin this year following its commission by RTÉ.
This project received €200,000 in support from the BAI as part of Sound & Vision 3.
