Extras required for ‘The Professor & The Madman’

MovieExtras.ie is accepting applications for roles in the upcoming feature film, which stars Mel Gibson and Sean Penn in leading roles.

The project is set to be filmed in Dublin over the coming weeks and is based on the true story of how the first edition of the Oxford English Dictionary was compiled.

It is directed by Farhad Safinia (Boss, Complete Savages), who co-wrote the screenplay with Todd Komarnicki (Sully) and Irish talent John Boorman (Queen & Country).

Among the roles for extras are three female body doubles, male actors with US accents, some with martial arts experience and all with camera experience.

A young Sean Penn lookalike is also required, who would be suitable to play a thirteen year old character. Requirements for the female double roles are listed below.

  • Ethnicity: Caucasian
  • Height: 5ft10 (177cm)
  • Waist: 26"
