The Irish actress is set to join Luke Roberts and Brandon Jay McLaren in the CBS show, coming to the screen from ‘X-Files’ creator Frank Spotnitz.
The show follows a small team of crisis negotiators who travel to multinational corporations, undertaking conflict resolution. Greene’s character Maxine Carlson will play a newcomer eager to prove her skills to the others.
This follows Greene’s recent success at the 2016 IFTA Awards, having picked up the award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role in Drama for ‘Penny Dreadful’. Greene also took home the Rising Star and Best Actress in a Supporting Role in Film awards for her portrayal of a young Christina Noble in ‘Noble’ at the 2015 ceremony.
The show is currently in production in Toronto, with 13 episodes due to air in 2017. Richard J. Lewis and Erik Canuel are due to direct, with Spotnitz also featuring as both a writer and executive producer.
CBS picked up the drama series in June of this year, with Big Light Productions also involved in the project. The show was originally announced at Mipcom 2014 and is a Canada-France treaty co-production.
