Brown Bag Films are celebrating even more Daytime Emmy success following two wins in Los Angeles recently for their acclaimed children’s animated series ‘Peter Rabbit’.
The show won in the Outstanding Special Class Animated Program category while storyboard artist Benjamin Sanders was also honoured with an Outstanding Individual Achievement in Animation award. This brings the show’s total to six Daytime Emmy Awards since it premiered in 2012.
On receiving the Emmy Award, Director David McCamley said: "This is such a huge honour and a testament to our incredible crew who put so much love and talent into making ‘Peter Rabbit’ happen."
‘Peter Rabbit’ follows the adventures of the mischievous Peter Rabbit and his best friends Benjamin Bunny and Lily Bobtail, as well as many of the much-loved and iconic Beatrix Potter characters, including Squirrel Nutkin, Jeremy Fisher and Mr. Tod.
Based on Beatrix Potter’s classic character, ‘Peter Rabbit’ was created by Brown Bag for Nickelodeon and the BBC. Developed by Silvergated Media, the animated series was made in Brown Bag's Smithfield studio and produced by former Dreamworks production manager, Erik Vignau.
