MIPTV takes place this week in Cannes and the Ireland on Screen (in partnership with Enterprise Ireland) stand will play host to a number of Irish and Northern Irish companies attending the Market.
MIPTV gives the world its first taste of the newest programmes, freshest formats and latest innovations for TV, internet, mobile and all video-rich platforms.
This year’s MIPTV will play host to 11,000 participants (from over 100 countries), 3,800 buyers, 1,000 VOD buyers, 1,600 exhibiting companies in approximately 20,300 M² of exhibiting space.
Enterprise Ireland are supporting the Ireland on Screen Stand, which will host a range of Irish and Northern Irish companies and broadcasters, including the Irish Film Board (IFB Project Manager Mary is attending), Element Pictures, Irish TV, JAM Media, Like It Love It, Network Ireland Television, Screen Scene, Sideline, Telegael and Tile Films.
The stand number is: Palais 1: P-1. A84 and the opening hours are 8.30am to 7.00pm every day until Thursday, April 7th.
Deals struck before MIPTV include RTÉ selling eight titles to Australian broadcasters last week.
