Call for entries opens for Cinemagic’s Young Filmmaker competition

The competition deadline is 2nd September 2016
The Cinemagic Film Festival is currently accepting applications for their 2016 Young Filmmaker competition which will take place during their Belfast festival in October.

The competition is only open to young filmmakers aged 25 and under living in the UK and Ireland and the films must be no longer than 10 minutes.

The films can be fact or fiction, comedy or drama, news programme or documentary.

The Cinemagic Belfast Festival in October 2016 will showcase their best short film entries and will also host a series of workshops and master classes with renowned members of the film and TV industry which have yet to be announced.

A digital filmmaking prize will be awarded for the best film in each age and genre category - the winning entries will also be screened in competition during the Cinemagic International Film Festival in 2017.
