DKIT are running another springboard animation course starting in late January 2016, with the closing date for applications being Friday, 20th January 2016.
2015 was yet another busy and successful year in Irish Animation as seen by Cartoon Saloon’s ‘Song of the Sea’ winning Best Film at the IFTA’s after picking up an Oscar nomination earlier this year. With the Irish animation industry thriving with the likes of ‘Doc McStuffins’, ‘Nelly & Nora’, ‘Bing’, ‘Lily’s Driftwood Bay’ all doing well internationally, DKIT is running a Certificate in 2D/3D Digital Animation Production.
The Certificate in 2D/3D Digital Animation Production will equip participants with skills in both 2D design & 3D computer animation, teamwork and project management. Students will gain vital knowledge of the production pipeline alongside software skills in programs such as Adobe PhotoShop, After Effects along with Maya for 3D and Adobe Premiere Pro.
