Irish colourist Aidan Farrell has once again received two nominations at the Royal Television Society Craft & Design Awards.
He was nominated in the category of Effects – Picture Enhancement for his work on Channel 4 drama ‘Indian Summers’ and BBC One’s ‘Remember Me’. Farrell also received two nominations in 2014 – for his work on ‘The Thirteenth Tale’ (Vida Films for BBC Two) and for the second series of ‘Utopia’ (Kudos for Channel 4).
Aidan has previously received a BAFTA Special Award for his extensive creative work, which includes credits like ‘Downton Abbey’ and ‘Boy A’ and he also received a News & Documentary Emmy Award for his work on Ultimate Guide: The Human Body.
The Royal Television Society Craft and Design Awards recognise the skills and processes involved in programme production, including editing, lighting, costume design and digital effects. Also nominated this year are Ed Bruce, Alan Collins & Nicholas Murphy from Screen Scene VFX for their work on acclaimed period drama ‘Ripper Street’.
The winners of the RTS Craft and Design awards will be announced at a ceremony hosted by comedian Susan Calman on the 30 November at the London Hilton Park Lane.
