TAX INCENTIVES FOR FILM PRODUCTION IN IRELAND ‘SECTION 481’ by Paul Mee and Elaine Gill of Mazers

IFTN were at the Galway Film Fleadh last week and were present for the Mazars film production tax credit system seminar at the Radisson BLU Hotel on July 10. Presented by Film Finance Partner Paul Mee and Film Finance Executive Elaine Gill, the session covered how the film tax credit operates, how producers can access it and what projects/expenditure qualifies. The presentation also discussed the new artiste withholding tax introduced for non-Irish/non-EEA Artistes working in Ireland. Check out the very informative slide show from the presentation below
