Fingal Film Festival nominated for Best Awards Ceremony
The Fingal Film Festival has been nominated for Best Awards Ceremony at the 2015 Event Industry Awards.

The Event Industry Awards celebrate excellence in the event sector in Ireland. The trophies will be handed out on Wednesday, May 27th 2015 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel, Burlington Road, Dublin 4.

The Fingal Film Festival are nominated alongside the Belfast Telegraph Northern Ireland Sports Awards, the Bord Gais Energy Student Theatre Awards, the KFW Irish Fashion Industry Awards and the Irish Franchise Awards.

The Fingal Film Festival was launched in 2012 by Liz Kenny as a new entity that encourages and promotes the works of the local film community as well as giving National and International emerging filmmakers to showcase their work in an environment where they have access to experienced industry professionals. They provide workshops and training programmes throughout the three day festival event every year and at least 25% of their festival schedule is dedicated to foreign films, giving attendees a unique and varied experience.

The 2015 Fingal Film Festival will take place from the 25-27 September at Movies@swords Pavilions Centre, Swords.
