22 Apr 2015 : Seán Brosnan
‘Clean Break’ has been made for RTÉ by Octagon Films and 152 Productions
New four-part drama series ‘Clean Break’ has recently completed post production at Screen Scene and is slated to air on RTÉ One later this year.

Written by Billy Roche and directed by Gillies MacKinnon and Damien O’Donnell, ‘Clean Break’ “tells the tale of a Wexford community driven by love, greed, status and revenge.”

Starring Adam Fergus, Aidan McArdle, Simone Kirby, Damien Molony, Kelly Thornton and Ned Dennehy, the series has been made for RTÉ by Octagon Films and 152 Productions, with Emma Burge, John Chapman, Suzanne McAuley and James Flynn producing.

Edited by Dermot Diskin and Grainne Gavigan, the series underwent Picture and Sound Post at Screen Scene and Ardmore Sound, where Simon Thronton was the Finishing Editor and John O’Riordan provided the Title graphics.

Michelle Fingleton was the Sound Supervisor, Peter Blayney edited the dialogue, and Ken Galvin was the Sound Re-recording Mixer. Screen Scene VFX supplied the VFX across the four episodes.

DOP’s on the project were Peter Robertson and Anna Valdez Hanks, location manager was Steven Davenport and Kathy Strachan was the costume designer. The Camera and Grip equipment were supplied by 24/7 Drama.

‘Clean Break’ is set to air on RTÉ One later this year, with broadcast details announced closer to transmission date.
