Connected entertainment provider UPC has announced that it has agreed content deals with local content providers and US Studios to bring a slew of Irish and international titles to its customers as part of its new service, My Prime.

Through agreements with Miramax, RTÉ, Element Pictures, Disney UK and Ireland and many more, My Prime will bring thousands of hours of box sets, movies and kids shows to UPC customers across multiple platforms such as the Horizon TV HD+ box and Horizon Go, available both In and Out of Home.

Customers can now select from a range of popular box sets including ‘Love/Hate’ and watch Irish films such as ‘The Guard’, ‘What Richard Did’ and ‘Adam and Paul’.

International shows in their library include ‘Revenge’, ‘Scandal’, ‘Cougar Town’ and ‘Devious Maids’; the film selection includes ‘The Boy in the Stripped Pyjamas’ and ‘There Will Be Blood’ and many more from the Miramax library. Customers will also have access to kids shows ‘Bob the Builder’, ‘Fireman Sam’, ‘Angelina Ballerina’, and ‘Sesame Street’.

New titles will be added every month with UPC continuing to invest in My Prime, bringing customers thousands more hours of box sets, movies and kids programming.

Speaking about My Prime, Bill Blake, head of commercial and products at UPC said: ‘We want to make watching television even more enjoyable for our customers. As market leaders we are committed to providing the best home entertainment offering available. The My Prime service is an exciting new development which will give customers the freedom and flexibility to access video content at any time and without limits.’

My Prime is available to all Horizon customers within their bundle for no extra charge. Access to the My Prime content is available through on the On Demand area in Horizon. Customers who do not have Horizon may now upgrade free of charge or alternatively keep their existing digital box and avail of the service for an additional €5 per month.
