Angelo Pizzo will direct the true story about 1960s University of Texas football great Freddie Steinmark and his relationship with legendary Texas coach Darrell Royal. Bolger plays Linda Wheeler, Steinmarkʼs high school sweetheart who follows him to college, while Tunney will play Gloria Steinmark, Freddie’s loving, supportive mother.

Bolger’s previous credits include the TV series ‘Once Upon a Time’, ‘The Spiderwick Chronicles’ and ‘Stormbreaker’. She received her big break when she starred alongside her sister, Emma Bolger, in Jim Sheridan’s semi-autobiographical feature ‘In America’.

Channing Tatum & Jonah Hill coming to Ireland
Sony Ireland has announced that Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill will touch down on Irish shores this Friday as part of their ’22 Jump Street’ promotional tour.

The pair will attend a premiere screening of their new ’22 Jump Street’ movie and are also said to be making an appearance at Trinity College’s Philosophical Society to receive Bram Stoker Medals for their contribution to entertainment. In a sequel to Sony‘s successful reboot last year that topped $200 million worldwide, ’22 Jump Street’ follows officers Schmidt (Hill) and Jenko (Tatum) as they go deep undercover at a local college. Written by Michael Bacall, Rodney Rothman and Oren Uziel, the film is directed by Phil Lord and Chris Miller. The action comedy also stars Ice Cube, Amber Stevens and Craig Roberts.

Further information about the pair’s stopover in Ireland is expected to be released by Sony in the coming days. ‘22 Jump Street’ will be released in Irish cinemas on 6 June. The trailer can be viewed below:
