Mrs Brown's Boys D'Movie Official Trailer

Brendan O’Carroll’s family sitcom will hit the big screen in Ireland this summer with ‘Mrs. Brown’s Boys D’Movie’. D’Movie sees Mrs. Brown forced into battle to save her livelihood against a ruthless developer who attempts to close her market stall. The Irish comedy, which is nominated in the Best Entertainment category at this year’s IFTA Awards, retains its usual brand of humour that has made the series so successful.

Speaking about the upcoming movie, creator and writer O’Carroll said: “I want to take on the challenge of writing a movie within the context of the TV series and film and shoot it in Dublin and its surroundings. It'll be a nice meaty story with plenty of comedy.”

The spin-off BBC sitcom ‘Mrs. Brown’s Boys D’Movie’ will be in cinemas June 27, 2014.

‘Frozen’ Makes Animation History

Disney’s ‘Frozen’ has topped the charts to become the highest-grossing animation film ever.

The highly successful animation grossed a total of $1.072 billion this weekend after opening in its final market, Japan. It beat off stiff competition from Disney/Pixar’s ‘Toy Story 3’, which grossed $1.063 billion in 2010. ‘Frozen’ collected $398.4 million domestically and $674 million internationally to take the title.

The 3D fantasy-comedy, directed by Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee, was inspired by Hans Christian Anderson’s “The Snow Queen.” ‘Frozen’ has become the top Disney or Pixar film in 27 territories overseas since its release over four months ago and has also broke into the top ten films of all time globally at the box office this weekend. After recently winning the Academy Award for Best Animated film and Original Song, ‘Frozen’ has become the first billion-dollar film from Disney Animation Studios.

Harry Potter Spin-off, ‘Fantastic Beasts’, to get Movie Trilogy

The Harry Potter spinoff ‘Fantastic Beasts And Where to Find Them’ will be made into a trilogy, by author J.K Rowling.

Rowling is currently penning the screenplay, inspired by her 2001 fictitious wizard textbook ‘Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them’, which is used by pupils at Hogwarts. Warner Bros. first announced the adaptation as a film series in September, saying it was part of an "expanded creative partnership" with Rowling. The three megamovies being planned, with the protagonist a "magizoologist" named Newt Scamander, are to be set in New York, 70 years before the beginning of the Harry Potter series.

Rowling explained that ‘Fantastic Beasts And Where to Find Them’, a 54-page book written between the fourth and fifth Potter books, would be "neither a prequel nor a sequel to the Harry Potter series, but an extension of the wizarding world".

Warners' plans include leveraging this new series into a video game, consumer products and digital initiatives. It will also expand the Wizarding World of Harry Potter theme parks in conjunction with partner Universal Parks and Resorts.
