‘Trampoline’ runs at the Ormond Cineplex Nenagh from February 21st
'Trampoline', a new Irish independent feature film, will open at the Ormond Cineplex Nenagh for a week beginning Friday February 21st.

The film was made on a budget of €1000 which was raised by local businesses in Nenagh sponsoring the film and the North Tipperary Arts Council.

‘Trampoline’ has already scooped many major awards including ‘Best Feature’ at the Williamsburg Independent Film Festival in New York and Wexford native Aoife Spratt, who stars in the lead role as Angie Corbett, won ‘Best Leading Actress’ at the Indie Fest Awards in LA.

Set and shot in Nenagh, Co. Tipperary, 'Trampoline' is a light hearted drama which follows a young woman named Angie who returns home after finishing college and must reconnect with her family and friends.

The film was written and directed by Tom Ryan, 26, who previously worked in the Ormond Cineplex Nenagh, where the film is being screened in the coming weeks. "Having ‘Trampoline’ screen at the Ormond means more to me than any film festival. I got my first ever job in that cinema, now ten years later I get to come back with my first feature as a writer/director.”

The film was produced by Claire Gormley and edited by Kevin Minogue, while the film’s score was composed and recorded by Cian O’Brian.

Tickets will be available soon on the Ormond Cineplex website

‘Trampoline’ will also be screened in the Little Cinema, Galway, on Wednesday February 26th and aims to tour the film around Ireland in the coming months.
