Airstream celebrate one year of live webcasting
20 Dec 2013 :
Online webcasting system AirStream has experienced a high level of success since its launch just under a year ago in the Irish market.

With AirStream customers can stream live content around the world. Rather than having to engage with multiple parties and products, such as for bandwidth, broadcast quality encoding and technical specialists, AirStream has all elements of webcasting in one turn-key package, making it a unique service available in Ireland.

The Airstream service can install a temporary 10mbps high speed broadband link into the venue where the event is taking place ensuring it is entirely reliable with guaranteed picture quality and sound and the streaming is all carried out over the Airspeed IP.

Simple to access and easy to use Airstream is an innovative product ideal for corporate conferences, broadcasters, as well as live streaming of bigger events like concerts and homecomings.

"AirStream is the ideal solution for businesses who have something they want to broadcast to a wider audience, from financial institutions, enterprises and SMEs, to educational institutions, event companies, theatres, and broadcasters," explained Liam O'Kelly, CEO of AirSpeed Telecom.

O’Kelly and his team at AirSpeed Telecom are well used to catering for events on a large scale, having broadcast visits from Queen Elizabeth II, Barack Obama, elections & referendums, 2012 Olympics and the RBS 6 Nations among others.

AirStream provides a seamless service so there is no need for an AirSpeed technician to be on site once the product is set up, rather the team watch from an operations room. Once the device is connected to the cameras on site, the live stream is ready to be broadcast to the world.

For more information on AirSpeed Telecom and AirStream, see the company profile on IFTN or visit www.airspeed.ie.
