Wildcard Distribution have released a new trailer for Irish recession comedy ‘Life’s A Breeze’, by 'Kisses' director Lance Daly, ahead of its world premiere at the Galway Film Fleadh and cinema release on 19th July - revealing more about the characters, tone and plot.
Pat Shortt, who established himself as a heavyweight actor in Lenny Abrahamson’s ‘Garage’ outside the world of Killinascully, headlines an impressive cast along with Fionnula Flanagan, Eva Birthistle, Kelly Thornton, Gerry McCann, Philip Judge, Lesley Conroy, Peter Coonan, Brian Gleeson and Paul Ronan.
Shortt plays unemployed slacker Colm who becomes involved in a nationwide search for his elderly mother’s lost life savings.
Ryan Tubridy and Joe Duffy also make appearances as themselves, as the people of Ireland rally behind the family to help them find the mattress before it’s too late.
An Irish-Swedish co-production between Fastnet Films and Anagram Produktions, ‘Life’s A Breeze’ is produced by Fastnet’s Macdara Kelleher, Tomas Eskilsson and Martin Persson of Anagram Produktion.
Other crew members include production manager Seamus McInerney (‘King Arthur’, ‘Saving Private Ryan’), production designer Waldemar Kalinowski (‘Crazy Heart’, ‘Kisses’), costume designer Anna Agren, hair by Anna Gronerus (‘Neverland’, ‘Becoming Jane’) and make up by Liz Byrne (‘Kisses’, ‘King Arthur’).
