Betty & Peggy Confirmed For ‘Mad Men’ Return…

January Jones, who plays Betty Draper, and Elizabeth Moss, who plays Peggy Olson in AMC series ‘Mad Men’ will return for season six, series creator Matthew Weiner has confirmed. Plot lines from season five, which saw Betty remain unhappily married to Henry Francis and Peggy leave the Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce ad agency, prompted many to speculate the two leading ladies would not return as regular cast members. In an interview with TV Guide magazine, Weiner also revealed series six will jump to the late 60s, after the last season was set in the early part of the decade. All cast members, apart from Jared Harris, will return in the sixth season. ‘Mad Men’ will return to US screens on April 7, with Sky Atlantic airing the UK and Ireland premiere just two days later.
