Blinder Films Double Bill At Palm Springs

Dublin-based production company, Blinder Films, is starting 2013 off with a bang!
Dublin-based production company, Blinder Films, is starting 2013 off with a bang! Their feature documentary The Perverts Guide to Ideology and their feature film Jump (fresh from a double bill at Toronto in September), are both included in the line up for the prestigious Palm Springs International Film Festival in California.

Dublin-based production company, Blinder Films, is starting 2013 off with a bang! Their feature documentary The 'Perverts Guide to Ideology' and their feature film 'Jump' (fresh from a double bill at Toronto in September), are both included in the line up for the prestigious Palm Springs International Film Festival in California.

'The Perverts Guide to Ideology', directed by Sophie Fiennes and helmed by celebrated philosopher Slavoj Zizek, has been busy since its premiere at Toronto including screenings at London, Stockholm, Copenhagen and Sao Paolo. 'Jump', starring Martin McCann ('Shadow Dancer', 'Killing Bono') and Nichola Burley ('Wuthering Heights', 'Streetdance 3D') and directed by Kieron J. Walsh ('When Brendan Met Trudy', 'Vexed') has also been nominated for the Cinema Without Borders ‘Bridging The Borders’ Award, at Palm Springs.

The Palm Springs International Film Festival is the premiere presenter of world cinema on the North American continent and Cinema Without Borders works to bring the international film community closer together with the ‘Bridging The Borders’ Award recognizes films who succeed in achieving this. The festival runs from January 3rd to 14th 2013 and a Cinema With Borders jury will award the winning film at the awards ceremony on January 13th.

'Jump' will screen on January 10th and 12th and 'The Perverts Guide to Ideology' will screen on January 11th and 12th at the festival. For more information visit http://www.psfilmfest.org/festival/
