Ireland’s leading TV recruitment agency The Production People picked up the Best in Practice in a Specialism Award at the National Recruitment Federation Awards last week.
The Dublin-based company, which specialises in supplying personnel for the media industry, is headed by former RTÉ production staff Louise Nolan and Deirdre Ryan.
The NRF awards recognise excellence in the recruitment industry. This year’s awards were held in the Shelbourne Hotel in Dublin, and received the largest number of applications in the history of the federation.
Announcing the award for Best in Practice, Kevin Green, CEO of the UK Recruitment and Employment Confederation said: “It is a very niche area and [The Production People] are well known in this sector as the one to go to for all types of jobs. They have unique knowledge of this sector and are known primarily through word of mouth and referrals.”
Nolan, director of The Production People, said the team was “absolutely delighted” to receive the award. She added: “It recognises our dedication over the past eight years to provide excellent service for all our clients and we hope to continue to grow and build on this success going forward”.
