IFTA Awards 2013 Call for Entries Now Open

Submissions for IFTA 2013 are now open
The Irish Film & Television Academy is now accepting entries for the 10th annual Irish Film & Television Awards which will take place in Dublin in February 2013.

Submissions in 40 awards categories across feature film, television programming, feature documentary, animation and short film are now being accepted online via the IFTA website.

The deadline for online submissions is 5pm on Tuesday, November 20.

The awards are open to talented craftspeople working in the film and television industries in Ireland and in the international arena.

Nominees and winners are voted for by members of the Irish Academy and an invited jury of top industry professionals.

The 2013 event marks the 10th year of the Irish Film & Television Awards, which celebrates the finest Irish screen creative talent – encouraging, honouring and recognising Irish people working within the film and television industries both at home and around the world.

The 9th annual IFTA awards ceremony, hosted by the Academy on February 11. reached a record audience of 1.143m viewers on RTÉ One, clocking up the highest number of Irish viewers to watch the Awards show.

Submissions are now invited for categories across film, television, shorts and animation.

To submit online visit the IFTA website, where the rules and guidelines for submission are also available.
