Sony Launches Three New Projectors
23 Oct 2012 : By Eva Hall
Sony's new VPL-CW275
Sony has unveiled three new projector models aimed at those looking to install a projector in a dedicated space.

The new VPL-CW275, VPL-FH31 and VPL-FH36 models will be put on the market over the coming months.

The projectors will feature BrightEra 3LCD Inorganic Panel technology, energy efficient features, installation flexibility and a low total cost of ownership.

The new VPL-CW275 model is part of the tech giant’s existing CW255 projector line-up and has - according to Sony – one of brightest light outputs.

A new ‘Picture Muting’ feature can turn the picture off when necessary by a single button-press on the remote control. This feature can be used in the corporate market as a tool to redirect attention away from the screen.

To make the projector more installation friendly, Sony has added a lens shift range and a ‘screen fitting’ for installation adjustment. The model will be available in Ireland from the end of next month.

Sony’s new VPL-FH31 and VPL-FH36 projectors are enhanced replacements for Sony’s existing VPL-FH30 and VPL-FH35 models.

The projectors are being targeted at those looking for a professional projector suited to universities, corporations, museums and medical applications.

Sony claims the image quality from both projectors are “best in class” with the high resolution WUXGA (1920x1200) projectors boasting full HD compatibility. Both models will be available in January.
