TG4 documentary ‘Jump Boys’ is nearing the end of post-production ahead of its November 28 air date.
High Wire is currently cutting the one-off documentary, which follows top jockeys Ruby Walsh, Barry Geraghty and Davy Russell as they compete at Fairyhouse, Kempton, Leopardstown, Cheltenham, Aintree and Punchestown, over the course of the 2011-2012 season.
Filming has been ongoing since autumn 2011, with Stephen Cullinane and Denis Kirwan producing for Touchline Media. Luke McManus is directing, with Peter Moffett the director of photography.
David O’Brien is editing, with Mark Quinn of High Wire overseeing the post-production.
The documentary received €90,000 in funding from the BAI in 2011, and is scheduled to wrap post-production next week.
‘Jump Boys’ will air on Wednesday November 28 at 9.30pm on TG4.
