Producer and director David Malone and RTÉ presenters Marty Whelan and Michael Murphy are among a number of high-profile names set to deliver a new television training course aimed at those looking to pursue a career in the industry.
Starting on November 10, The Park Studio course will aim to equip students with the necessary skills to get to the next level and show how television works, from idea to broadcast.
With an emphasis on practical training, the course will be provided by a group of television industry professionals including producer/directors, David Malone, Denise Dunne and Niamh Guckian; presenters Marty Whelan and Michael Murphy and researcher, Margaret Martin.
This course aims to provide students with practical, hands-on experience in all aspects of TV with an emphasis on production, direction and presentation.
Some of the areas covered during the training will include the stages of production; single and multi-camera presenting and the role of a TV producer.
The training course begins on Saturday, November 10 and will runs every Saturday (10am-5pm) until January 26.
