Irish actor Domhnall Gleeson has been cast in the second series of Charlie Brooker’s acclaimed British television series ‘Black Mirror’.
Gleeson, who can currently be seen in ‘Shadow Dancer’, ‘Dredd 3D’ and ‘Anna Karenina’, will play Ash in episode one of the Channel 4 series, which is entitled ‘Be Right Back’.
Production on the episode, which has been written by Brooker, is currently underway in the UK with Owen Harris (Secret Diary of a Call Girl) directing. Zeppotron are producing the series for Channel 4.
Gleeson has recently wrapped filming on ‘About Time’, which was directed by Richard Curtis for Working Title. He plays lead role of Tim in the romantic comedy, which also stars Rachel McAdams.
He is currently in pre-production on Lenny Abrahamson’s ‘Frank’, which will be shot in Ireland later this year.
