Irish actor Jack Reynor has signed with WME talent agency in the US, following his leading role in Lenny Abrahamson’s feature film ‘What Richard Did’.
Reynor, who is just 20, will join major Hollywood talent such as Ben Affleck, Amy Adams, Christian Bale, Danny Boyle, Steve Buscemi and many more who are all on WME’s books.
The talent agency, which is one of the largest agencies in the world, has offices in all major cities including Beverly Hills, New York, Miami and London.
Reynor’s starring role in ‘What Richard Did’ was screened for the first time at last night’s Toronto International Film Festival, joining eight other Irish films screening over the weekend.
The film, released in cinemas next month, sees Reynor play privileged teenager Richard Karlsen, whose life changes forever after one reckless moment.
Reynor, from Humphrystown in Wicklow, previously appeared in Kirsten Sheridan’s 2012 film ‘Dollhouse’, as well as short film ‘Stella’.
‘What Richard Did’ is released in Irish cinemas from October 5. Element Pictures produced the Abrahamson-directed feature.
