Fox to take over distribution for Dreamworks… Hollywood studio 20th Century Fox will distribute animated features from Dreamworks Animation for the next five years, the studios have announced. Fox is taking over distribution from Paramount Pictures, which has been distributing Dreamworks’ features for a fee of about eight per cent of revenue from each film, reports Reuters. Fox will earn the same fee, Dreamworks Animation CEO Jeffrey Katzenberg said.
TV music format ‘The X Factor’ returns on six-year low… ‘The X Factor’ returned to TV screens last weekend with its lowest launch audience in six years. The ninth series of the Thames and Syco TV singing competition attracted the show’s lowest debut crowd since 2006 in Britain with 5.53m viewers, or around 24.69 per cent of the audience share, reports Broadcast.
