The deadline for applications for production funding with the Irish Film Board has been changed to Wednesday August 15.
The new deadline will only affect applications for production funding, which covers those seeking loans for fiction Irish productions, animation and documentary, creative co-production, completion funding and distribution funding.
It will not affect applicants for development funding, with those deadline dates still set at July 31 and August 31. The IFB will consider applications for the production loans at the next meeting in early September.
All other normal procedures apply with producers asked to consult the How To Apply section on the IFB’s website for application details.

The IFB announced the results of its latest funding round last week, with John Michael McDonagh’s ‘Calvary’ and Andrew Davies and Conor McPherson’s ‘Quirke’ offered large production loans. For the results of the latest round of IFB funding click here.
