Irish actor Pierce Brosnan has been confirmed to star in espionage thriller ‘November Man.’
The project is the first to be produced under a multi-feature financing and distribution deal involving Brosnan’s US-based production company Irish DreamTime and The Solution Entertainment Group.
Brosnan will star opposite British actor Dominic Cooper (The Devils Double) in the thriller adapted from writer Bill Granger’s novel ‘There Are No Spies.
Potentially the first of a spy franchise, ‘November Man’ will see Brosnan play an ex-CIA operative pitted against a former pupil in a case involving the CIA top brass and the Russian president-elect.
The feature will be directed by Roger Donaldson (The Bank Job) and will begin shooting in October in Berlin. Michael Finch and Karl Gajdusek adapted the screenplay from Granger’s novel. Beau St Clair will produce for Irish DreamTime.
