More than 1,000 people have applied to appear in the new series of TV3’s ‘Tallafornia’, which is due to begin filming later this year.
TV3 have revealed that they have been inundated with applications since announcing last month that they were commissioning a new series of their hit reality TV show.
They are currently short-listing candidates for the second series, which will begin production in the coming months and will be shot in as an as-yet-unrevealed “exotic location”.
A spokesperson told IFTN: “We have had over 1000 applicants apply for the new series of ‘Tallafornia’. We’ve had all different types of characters apply from all different places, backgrounds and professions and we are currently short-listing people from all the emails and will meet with and interview them in due course.”
Created for TV3 by producer Fintan Maguire and director Dara Tallon, the duo will return for the new series which is scheduled to begin production in the coming months.
