Live U’s new portable uplink solutions are to be launched for the first time in Ireland tomorrow with an open day at Tyrell CCT’s Dublin headquarters.
The LU60 & LU40i portable uplink equipment will be available to test and demonstrate with LiveU product specialists from 9.30am until 5pm tomorrow in Bluebell Business Park with demos taking around 20 minutes each.
LiveU’s products provide broadcast-quality, video-over-cellular solutions that allow live video transmission from any location around the world.
The products have been used at events such as the Academy Awards, with clients including TV stations, event companies and online video publishers.
Live U’s new LU60 series boasts a set for mobile ENG over multiple wireless networks. The LU60 bonds up to 14 cellular (3G/4G), WiMAX and wi-fi modems to provide a broadcast-quality video uplink. The compact backpack also includes new features such as 1080i HD video resolution.
The LU40i comes in a smaller form and is targeted at online media professionals. It weighs less than 700g and can be connected to most cameras. The LU40i portable uplink system can be controlled by a single operator using a touch-screen interface.
The demonstrations will take place at Tyrell CCT, Unit 13, Bluebell Business Park,
Old Naas Road, Dublin 12.
