Neil Jordan’s go-to film editor Tony Lawson will be a guest lecturer at Dun Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design & Technology (IADT) as part of its National Film School Lecture Series.
Over his 40-year career Lawson has worked with some of the world’s most respected directors, including Academy Award-winning Stanley Kubrick (Barry Lyndon) and Nicolas Roeg (Bad Timing).
Lawson has edited all of Neil Jordan’s films since 1996, including ‘Michael Collins’, ‘The Butcher Boy’ and ‘The Brave One’.
Lawson will speak at IADT on 27th March at 05.30pm at A025. The lecture series is in association with the Irish Film Board and has previously seen the likes of director Brenda Chapman and Irish actress Sinead Cusack host.
