Colin Farrell is reportedly in talks to star in ‘Arthur and Lancelot’, which will be produced by Warner Bros.
Variety reports the Dublin-born actor is said to be considering a role in the upcoming remake, although it is uncertain which part he would take.
’Arthur and Lancelot’ was originally due to go into production in January but wound up production due to budget and other concerns.
‘Game Of Thrones’ actor Kit Harington was previously attached as Arthur, with ‘The Killing's’ Joel Kinnaman as Lancelot, but both have now passed because of scheduling conflicts with other work.
David Dobkin, who directed ‘Wedding Crashers’ and ‘The Change-Up’, is set to direct and write, while Charles Roven will produce. Plot details are not yet known.
Farrell, last seen in horror remake ‘Fright Night’, has recently completed work on ‘Total Recall’ and Martin McDonagh’s ‘Seven Psychopaths’.
