The Irish Film Institute is set to host a series of screenings this month paying homage to the work of Irish production company Fastnet Films. Special guests at these screenings will include IFTA winning directors Jim Sheridan (Brothers, My Left Foot), Lance Daly (Kisses), Rebecca Daly (The Other Side of Sleep) and Stephen Rea (Stella Days, The Crying Game).
Fastnet consists of producers Macdara Kelleher and Morgan Bushe, and director Lance Daly – with talent such as Rebecca Daly, Andrew Legge and Ross McDonnell also working out of the Dublin production house.
The Season Schedule:
Circus Fantasticus- 4.20pm 3rd March
The screening will be followed by a Q+A with award-winning Sound Designer, Robert Flanagan. + Short film The Chronoscope.
Colony- 2pm 4th March

Their latest offering 'The Other Side of Sleep' is released at the IFI and selected cinemas on the 16th March 2012. There will be a gala preview of the film at the IFI on 15th March at 6.20pm followed by a Q+A with the film’s director Rebecca Daly.
