Lionsgate UK and Northern Irish production company Generator have teamed up for the filming of new comedy film ‘Keith Lemon; The Film’ which stars ‘Celebrity Juice’ host Keith Lemon, alther ego of comedy actor Leigh Francis.
The film, which was written by Leigh Francis (Bo Selecta, Keith Lemon’s World Tour) follows Lemon pursuing his dreams of becoming a successful entrepreneur, just like his hero Richard Branson. He comes to London from Leeds, becomes an overnight billionaire, then an over day failure before finding the road to redemption. Verne Troyer (Austin Powers) is also confirmed to star alongside Keith Lemon.
Shooting on location in Belfast, the project will be directed by Paul Angunawela ( Keith Lemon’s Fit, Experimental) and produced by Mark Huffman ( Game of Thrones, Mamma Mia!) and Adrian Elliot of Generator Entertainment. It will be funded by Northern Ireland Screen supported by Invest NI and part funded by the European Regional Development Fund. Additional finance comes from London post house Molinare.

Shooting for ‘Keith Lemon; The Film’ will begin on the 17th of this month in Belfast.
