TG4 will launch its first Irish language App for Kids at Oireachtas na Gaeilge 2011 in Killarney on Saturday, 5 November.
Cúla4 is TG4’s daily tv service for young people. This App provides over 100 Irish language words and images for pre-school kids or learners, covering areas such as Weather, Animals, Vehicles, and Parts of the Body. As well as the correct spelling, the App includes the pronunciation for each word too
The Free App is available to download on to iTunes and compatible with all iPhone/iPad devices, with an Android version to be available shortly.
Maire Treasa Ní Dhubhghaill will launch the app at Oireachtas na Gaeilge, the annual Irish language cultural festival.
