Irish actress Amy Huberman and Dublin-born director Ian Fitzgibbon’s new comedy series ‘Threesome’ is to air on October 17th at 9.30pm on the Comedy Channel UK.
The seven part series is Comedy Central UK’s first narrative comedy commission and focuses on three friends who are about to turn 30. Starring Irish actress Amy Huberman (A Film With Me In It, Stella Days) alongside Stephen Wight (The Great Outdoors, Whites) and Emun Elliott (Game of Thrones), it tells the story of three friends who have an unplanned threesome after a big night out, resulting in Alice (Amy Huberman) getting pregnant.
The show is directed by Irish director Ian Fitzgibbon, whose feature ‘Death of a Superhero’ is receiving rave reviews following it’s world premiere at Toronto Film Festival. Fitzgibbon and Huberman previously worked together on his debut feature ‘A Film With Me In It’.
‘Threesome’ is produced by John Rushton for Big Talk Productions and written by BAFTA nominated writer Tom MacRae (Off Limits: School’s Out, Mile High), with Kenton Allen and Simon Curtis executive producing.
’Threesome’ will kick off with a double bill on Comedy Central UK on October 17th at 9.30pm.
