Tyrone productions are currently prepping for 10x30 minute series ‘OMG! Jedward’s Dream Series’ for RTÉ. The series will see Ireland’s Eurovision/X-Factor twins, John and Edward Grimes hosting, as they aim to make young people’s dreams come true.
Produced by Noleen Golding (All Ireland Talent Show) and directed by John FD Northover (Have I Got News For You?), the show will see Jedward fans submitting imaginative requests, which they want Jedward to help them live out. It will be filmed in RTÉ Studios and on locations throughout Ireland in late 2011.
Applicants aged 8-16 who have a dream they want Jedward to help them fulfil (from getting a walk-on part in a soap to jamming with your favourite band to being you Dad’s boss for a day!), can apply to take part by emailing omg@tyrone-productions.ie. Closing date for applications is September 9th.
Over 1000 applicants have already been received by Tyrone Productions. ‘OMG! Jedward’s Dream Factory’ will air on RTÉ upcoming Christmas Schedule and was funded by RTÉ. Jedward were seen entering the Celebrity Big Brother house last night which received Channel 5's highest ratings in years, pulling in 5.1million viewers.
