Specialist AV Acquire HDCAM Deck

Specialist AV have acquired a HDCAM Deck available for rent and broadcast dubbing. The HDCAM Deck will allow the user to make copies of HDCAM onto other HDCAM tapes and to play HD tapes for broadcast.

The is a timely acquisition for AV Specialist, as Irish broadcasters are just beginning to broadcast high-definition programming, with RTÉ broadcasting the first high-definition programmes in May 2011.

Founder of Specialist AV, Joe Murphy commented on the facilities new capabilities saying “this is just another addition to the wide range of services we offer our clients.”

Specialist AV have a commitment to deliver ‘Any Format, Any Quantity’ and have been updating their duplication facility consistently since it’s opening in 2001. In 2010, they acquired a new Apple Final Cut Pro Editing System to accommodate file to tape mastering, meaning that Specialist AV clients could now submit file based media to be mastered into a large choice of tape formats.

Specialist AV is a Dublin based duplication facility dedicated to video, DVD and CD-ROM duplication. They are equipped to meet the most demanding PAL, NTSC or SECAM duplication requirements from HDCAM/HDV, Digi-Beta, Beta-SP, Beta-SX, DV Cam, mini DV, 8mm, S-VHS or VHS formats.
