Good Company Productions will soon begin filming on new format ‘Pitch Perfect’ for TG4. The eight part series is a newly created format for TG4 which will hit our screens in October 2011.
Produced by Evan Chamberlain (Feirm Factor) and Grainne O’Carroll (Any Given Sunday), the series will select singers from local GAA Clubs all over Ireland. Together, they will form a Choir that will go on to perform Centre Stage at Croke Park singing the songs of the Opposing Teams for the All Ireland Football Final on the 3rd Sunday of September 2011.
Two mentors on the series will be Irish Soprano Niamh Murray and Composer and former Musical Director with Riverdance Colm O Foghlú. They will be accompanied by local Musical and GAA Legends as they attempt to find the best selection of Altos, Sopranos, Basses and Tenors and train the 30 voices over an eight week period.
Director of photography on the series is Ross O’Callaghan (Hector I gCeanada) with John Lowry on sound. It will be edited by Colin Campbell with post-production being carried out in High Wire and Lime Street Sound. ‘Pitch Perfect’ will hit our screens in October 2011.
