Shooting has begun on October Eleven’s psychological drama ‘Box’. The feature began filming on June 13th with a week spent filming in location on Cellbridge, Co Kildare. Filming will continue on locations throughout Dublin and Kildare until July 3rd.
Directed and Produced by Jason Figgis (Uri’s Haunted Venice), ‘Box’ examines the relationship between a couple who are trying to come to terms with the murder of their daughter. The couple, played by Bryan Murray (Holby City, Brookside) and Cora Fenton (Mary Motorhead, Strength and Honour), seek the assistance of architect Bill Fellows (United, Downton Abbey) to take revenge on who they believe to be the killer.
The feature was written by Bernadette Manton (Blood) and executive producer on the project is Jonathan Figgis (The Guards). Director of photography is Laura McGann and Jason Shalloe is co-producing. ‘Box’ is shooting in sequence with Andrew Lynch on sound and Sinead Murphy doing make-up. Executive producer Jonathan Figgis spoke of the project saying that there was ”a very dedicated cast and crew with a fantastic work ethic which also creates a great atmosphere on set.”
The low budget film will be post produced at October Eleven Creatives post facility and was funded by a private investor.
