The MEDIA Mundus programme has now launched its second call for proposals. Applications are open for actions that will be taking place between 01/02/2012 and 31/03/2013 in the field of training, market access, distribution and circulation of audiovisual works.
There is €5 million budget for the second part of the programme. Proposals must be submitted by organisations based in MEDIA-participating countries with partners from non-European countries.
The MEDIA Mundus programme aims to capitalise on a growing interest and the opportunities offered by global cooperation of the audiovisual industry. The programme plans to increase consumer choice by bringing more culturally diverse products to European and international markets and to create new business opportunities for audiovisual professionals from Europe and around the globe. Media Mundus aims to build on the success of the preparatory action MEDIA International and to strengthen cultural and commercial relations between the EU film industry and other international filmmakers.
