The Marie Keating Foundation has announced an exclusive charity Disney Pixar ‘Toy Story’ day in association with Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures Ireland and UCI Blanchardstown.
As part of the day’s events ‘Toy Story’ in 3D will show at 10.00am and ‘Toy Story 2’ in 3D will show at 11.40am at the UCI cinema at Blanchardstown on Saturday, December 5th.
Tickets are available to the public with the the price for the screening of both films is €20.00 per person - with the proceeds of the tickets sales going to the Marie Keating Foundation.
The three time Oscar noinated film ‘Toy Story’ tells the tale of Woody the cowboy and other toys belonging to Andy who are joined by an action figure called Buzz Ligthyear who soon becomes Andy’s favourite toy. Woody is consumed with jealously and tries to get rid of Buzz but his plan backfires and soon both Woody and Buzz are lost and must find a way back to Andy’s house before the family move. This will involve a stint in the house of ruthless toy killer, Sid Philips.
Oscar nominated ‘Toy Story 2’ sees the toynapping of Woody by toy collector proprietor of ‘Al’s Toy Barn’, Al McWiggan, while Andy is at summer camp. Buzz and the rest of the toys head off on a rescue mission to safe Woody from a life as a museum piece.
