Irish Activity at the Cannes Film Festival

Over 60 Irish companies have registered their attendance with Irish Pavilion for this year's Cannes Film Festival (May 13th – 24th). The Pavilion, which is the central point for the Irish presence at the Festival, will be providing focus for business, information and social elements for the Irish attendees to the festival as well as hosting events and seminars.

On Friday May 15th from 5.30pm to 6.30pm Screen Producers Ireland will host a Section 481 Panel. On Sunday May 17th, two seminars will be held; From 4pm -5pm: The Changing Role of International Film Festivals and then from 5.15pm – 6.15pm: Death of a Salesman? - a debate on the international distribution landscape for independent film.

Among the Irish film industry delegates who will attend are; Octagon Films, Magma Films, Monster Distributes, Venom Films, Element Films, Fastnet Films, Philip Lee Solicitors, Instigator Films, Samson Films, Dingle Film Festival, Ripple World Pictures, Zanzibar Films, IFTA, Galway Film Fleadh, Newgrange Pictures, Windmill Lane Pictures, Lebrocquy Fraser Ltd, Armchair Films, Blinder Films, Access cinema, Lighthouse Cinema, Zanita Films, High Point Media Group and the IFI.

The Irish Pavilion will open on Wednesday 13th May and close Friday May 22nd
