Having agreed a sales deal with agent Submarine last week at the Tribeca Film Festival, Conor McPherson’s ‘The Eclipse’ has been picked up by distributor Magnolia Pictures.
Produced by Treasure Entertainment, and co written by McPherson and Billy Roche, the film’s lead Ciarán Hinds also picked up the Best Actor Award at the festival.
Hinds plays a widower who is haunted by nightmarish visions and stars alongside Aidan Quinn and Iben Hjejle (High Fidelity).
Magnolia has taken the worldwide rights to the pic.
