Ireland’s newest music and entertainment channel MiTV, which presents shows in all the music genres as well as film news and reviews,
MiTV was launched in November 08 and airs over the internet on www.mitv.ie or on Magnet Entertainment's own network, available to over 11,000 people.
Shows to air on the channel include ‘The Studio Room’ which focuses on interviews and videos from an mix of underground and independent music, presented by Hilary Rose; ‘The Studio Pulse’ presented by Irish DJ and producer Arveene Juthan - the channels dance, electronica, and urban music show and ‘The Studio Sessions’ plays host to basic music with local and international acts dropping by the intimate Intermission Studios for intimate acoustic sessions and interviews.
‘The Studio and You’ show gives members of the public the opportunity to step in front of the camera and present their own show; ‘The Studio Scene’ talks through what’s happening on the streets of Dublin; ‘Reel View’ is MiTV’s Movie Show again presented by Hilary Rose who previews and reviews all the major titles coming out weekly and meets with local documentary makers and film buffs while the show ‘Press Pass’ combines behind-the-scenes footage with music videos, live performances and interviews, usually focusing on one act per show.
