Tom Conroy Receives ADG Nomination For ‘Tudors’

Production designer Tom Conroy has been nominated for his work on Showtime’s ‘The Tudors’ for the Art Directors Guild’s 13th annual Excellence in Production Design Awards to be held on February 14th in LA.

Conroy, whose production design credits also include ‘Intermission’ and ‘Breakfast on Pluto’, has been nominated for the Irish Canadian co-production in the Single-camera TV series Category. Fellow nominees are: Dan Bishop - ‘Mad Men’, Michael Wylie - ‘Pushing Daisies’, Suzuki Ingerslev – ‘True Blood’, and Mark Worthington for ‘Ugly Betty’. Conroy picked up the Irish Film & Television Award (IFTA) in 2008 for his work on the Showtime series.

Actor Bryan Cranston from drama series ‘Breaking Bad’ will host the awards which will be presented in nine categories, covering film, TV and commercials.
