One of the three ‘catalystproject’ funded features ‘One Hundred Mornings’ written and directed by Conor Horgan (About Beauty) is currently shooting in and around locations in Roundwood Co. Wicklow.
The film starring Ciarán McMeniman (The Last Confession of Alexander Pearce), Rory Keenan (Ella Enchanted), Alex Reid (The Midnight Drives) and Kelly Campbell (The Old Curiosity Shop) is set in a remote rural hideaway, where two warring couples try to survive a world-changing threat
The shoot will last for four weeks with Susie Lavelle (An Créatúr) lensing and Katie Holly from Blinder Films and Louise Curran from Octagon co-producing. Post is in Egg and Ardmore Sound.
The film which is funded as part of the catalystproject filmmaking scheme which has seen three winning teams get the chance to produce a low-budget feature to the sum of €250,000. The two other successful films are ‘Redux’ by PJ Dillon and produced by Alex Jones and John Wallace and ‘ Eamon’ by Margaret Corkery and produced by Seamus Byrne (Zanita Films). The three are intended to be released theatrically in cinemas across Ireland and screened on TV3.
