Lighting and facilities supplier Cine-Electric has provided all lighting for this years 49th Annual International Rose of Tralee competition from the Festival Dome in Tralee, of which the final will be broadcast live tonight on RTÉ1 at 8.00pm.
Presenter Ray D’arcy and the 31 Roses will be lit by a large and complex lighting installation in the Festival Dome including 32 VL 2500 Spot Lights, 60 LED Pixel Par 90s, moving head luminaries as well as generic lighting in the form of ETC Source 4 Profile, Parnells and 102 James Thomas Parcam.
Cine Electric has also been providing a Twin Sync Silent Generator power to Observe, the OB service transmitting the contest, as well as the National Lottery's Millionaire Raffle draw, which will be broadcast live from Denny Street in Tralee at 8.50pm tonight. The Draw will be presented by Derek Mooney and the 2007 Rose of Tralee, Lisa Murtagh.
Cine Electric supplied all lighting equipment to recent productions ‘Fáilite Towers’ and ‘The Road to Croker’. Electrical equipment and lighting will also be supplied to next week’s ‘Late Late Show’s’ broadcast from the Wexford Opera House as well as the Irish version of ‘The Apprentice’.
