Dublin-based audio post production house Egoboo has installed a new Solid State Logic X-Rack in their Herbert Lane studios.
Greg Malocca and Alan Killian from Egoboo visited the Solid State Logic head quarters in Oxford, where they were given the opportunity to test the equipment first hand.
“Solid Stat Logic is one of the leading recording and broadcast consoles makers,” Malocca told IFTN. “We were very impressed with their products and decided to invest in the X Rack, an outboard piece of audio equipment which possesses the same circuitry as the larger consoles, but put into a box. From the computers sound card, the signal passes through this super analogue equipment which ultimately makes the summed signal much warmer and better sounding.”
Egoboo’s recent projects include composing the music and sound post-production for the Lisbon Treaty TV and radio ad campaign.
